5yards = 15 feet. The about the maximum distance you would shoot an intruder in your house. I'd hate to be that bad guy.

Frankly, Much more than 15 feet can hardly be called self defense. So Unless you are shooting for Military or LE that is fantastic shooting brother!!!

Thanks for the positive replies guys, It was with a 230gr handload at almost factory spec, just a hair under. I am really diggin this tactical, may have to get me one in 9mm.

My 45 tac doesn't do that well. But I think its the one holding the pistol

Thanks, Im gonna take out mt Xdm here in the next few days ill see what I can do and post some results. My tactical will be on its way back to Springfield here int the next couple of days to get some Heinie night sights.

That is a very nice group. I got my XD last week and need to get some pics posted. Still working up some good handloads for it. I like the XD .45ACP Tactical alot. It shoots well and does a good job of taming the .45 recoil.
