XD45 Trigger - who's planning a trigger job and who's not?
Not that there is anything wrong with the factory trigger as far as defensive guns go. But I did have Canyon Creek work on my XD40 and now I am a bit spoiled. Rich reduced the travel time quite a bit and when I compare my XD40 to my XD45 there is a noticeable difference in "travel time." Nevertheless, my XD45 is a great shooter and I am very accurate with it. So, I am just curious about how many of you are planningon leaving the trigger alone and how many are planning on having it worked on. I am very easily influenced.

Mine will be going to CC for sure for a trigger job, as will my new XD-9 Service. I'd like to get a few thousand rounds down the range with each of these before I do much of anything to them. The XD-9 IS at SA right now for an Armory Kote of the slide and controls.
Both of these triggers feel better than my older XD's did, but Rich's work feels 10 times better. Due to quite a few other projects in the works and a lack of extra cash it will be quite a while before either of these go to CC, but it will ultimately happen for sure!

So how does Canyon Creek's trigger work compare to that of Springfield's custom shop?

Most who have both say it's better. I only have a CC trigger job and honestly couldnt imagine it being able to get any better.
