I put the same question to John Moe of Springfield Armory and he said "Sorry, maybe later but not right now". Like DJDan said, mags are part #XD4545 and are $26.00 list. I guess you can't complain. $1200.00+ Kimbers only come with ONE mag and their response when asked if they are going to include a spare mag is "Nope, we only include one and have no plans to change it. If you want a spare, buy one". NICE ATTITUDE! Thanks for the info on the holsters, Guys. I had planned on using the one in the XD package, but I haven't heard alot of good about them. I will give it a try, though.

The thing about the Kimber is that 1911 magazines can be bought from a number of sources for cheap. At this point we literally seem to have no chioce but to buy XD45 mags straight from Springfield. Hopefully within a few months the mags will be readily available for a good price, until then I can live with two 13 round mags.

I called SA Friday and ordered 2. She told me there was no way they'd ship before the end of the month.
