new xd45 owner!
just ordered one today from the loacal shop. i was just wondering what lubricants and degreasers are recommended for the first cleaning. i use hoppes for my rifles and shotguns. also what brand of bulk ammo? i found a good price on remington umc 230gr fmj. a friend of mine said i should stay away from wolf ammo.

Friends dont let friends shoot Wolf. i wont let it be shot in any of my guns

Welcome to the forum. Hoppes will work fine. I use EEZOX on the outside. Break Free CLP work good also.
