I'm waiting for now. Saving for the Tulsa gun show April 1/2. I'm planning on the 45ACP Tactical there. I've read some threads here of members picking up XDs from anywere from 375-500 at shows. On average between 400-450. I expect I probably won't be able to get as good a deal as this due to low supply/high demand. Still, that's the plan.

I just picked up my 4" today. Haven't even shot it yet. I really wanted the 5" but at this point I'm going to wait as see how well I shoot the 4" before deciding to pony out the cash for the 5". The other problem is holsters. Who makes a good tactical holster for the 5"?!

A good tac holster
I would go with the Safariland 6004 myself. Its pretty much the "one" being used by everybody who is anybody. Has not failed me yet.

I went to order mine at 10:45am CT and they were out! I was waiting on a return email from the shop that it was going to. Oh well. I will find one or buy a .40 Tact.
