XD .45 - 5" model coming
Received a nice email reply from John at Springfield Armory sales. I called asking about the availability of the XD45 in the 5" tactical length barrel
"5 inch in black only will be coming very soon - OD Green and Bi-Tone are a few months out" My dealer believes we should be seeing the 5" by the end of Feb. So we'll see. Maybe not earth shattering news but I read on here many members asking the same thing. A simple call to SA was very pleasently and promptly returned. Heckler and Koch could learn a thing or two from SA on customer service. Nice people there in Geneseo! |

It's good to know the tactical model will be around soon for those who want it. I'm happy with my XD45 service model, the shorter barrel makes it easier to conceal
 If I want to shoot a 5" .45 I always have my 1911! |
