Well, I finally got a chance to take my 45 to the range, and WOW! I fired 150 rounds of UMC 230gr FMJ, and it did beautifully. The pistol itself was smooth and the recoil was light and manageable. I then switched to some of my own loads and managed to get 26 of 35 185 grn JHP rounds into a 1.5" group at 20 yards. This one is definately going to be my new CCW piece.

This pistol really tames hot loads. I can't wait to try the 5".
