XD 45 ACP Hogue Grips ... New - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Hello,
I am new to this, I recently purchase my first firearm. I called my local store on thusday and asked it they had heard anything about the new XD 45ACP and when they where getting some in, he say "I got five in today" I went home thrusday and begged to my wife and nagged the hell out of her (using her own strategy) until she said "fine, you can buy the stupid gun" so on friday i ran down there on my lunch break and got me one. I bought a box of 50 and put them thru. I could not have been happier, i have shot a few 1911 and glocks, IMO the recoil on the XD45 ACP is less than the 1911 very similar to a glock 31 but more accurate. I also bought a hogue grip which made a great differance and i like it even more now. i also could not have been happier with the price that i paid, only 469.00 + 26 in taxes. if anybody is from Utah, i would be more than happy to provide you with the information of where i got it.

Where did you get it from. I have one in layaway at a dealer, but I might just have to take the money elsewhere? Thanks

hey there tacomatose,
i got my at doug's shoot and sport in taylorsville. it is around 4900 south and redwoor rd if you are familiar with the area. you can easily find them on dexonline.com they got five last week, there is a chance that they are out already but since they sell such a high valume of springfelds compare to others in the area, they get priority over anybody else, and when they told me they were getting osme on 2 weeks, it was 2 weeks unlike other stores that i went to. anyhow, they also have a holding list that you can put some down and you will be sure to get one when they get them but you have to pay it in full when they arive. I hope this helps.
