I talked to two shops today, and the 45ACP is not approved yet. When it is they said it would be $539.95. If anyone can find them for less, please post it. I want a 5 inch model.

I am from Utah and i just bought on in the service model for $469.00 they told me that the 5" will be 499 when they get them in. i think that after shipping and FFL fees you will be better off just buying it there. shop around i call a lot of stores and found this one to be the lowest.

Any idea when it will be approved? What is the approval process?

The 5" tactical will most likely follow this spring or early summer (from what I gather in other posts of people who've actually called SA). The "normal" street price will be about $25-30 higher than the 4"

http://www.pdhsc.com/showcase1.htm is listing them for $478.95 while they are selling the 4" for $453.95 They had 8 of the 4" models in last week, but they were all sold by Friday afternoon, so I found one at another dealer for only a few bucks more.

the store that is getting them in called Doug's Shoot and Sport down on redwood Rd in Salt Lake City. I am not ure if you are from the area, but just in case. they just got 5 in the 4" model in on thrusday, so i went down on friday on my lunch break and got me one for 469.00 and they told me that the 5" is $30 more.
