Is it just me?? .45ACP and Springfield light - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Is it just me or does the Springfield light fit for crap on the .45 ACP?? I have the one that came with the first .40 SC models and contrary to some of the reports I have heard about the light fitting tightly on other models mine has fit all of mine GREAT. Today I took my ACP to the range for the first time, tried the light for kicks and it fit very poorly and was very loose.

The rails should have the same spacing so the XML to fit all XDs.

Try the Glock tactical light. I have one on my service 9mm and it also fits on my .45 ACP XD perfectly.

Then this one might not work for me either. The light I have also fits my service model perfectly alread but does NOT fit the .45 ACP well AT ALL.

Anyone know if this is something springfield did intentionally or if they are offering something else that will fit this gun well???
