best ammo for the new XD-45ACP FTF's? FTE's? anyone else? - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Just made a new post on the test firing of my new XD-45ACP. I will be trying several types of ammo to see what gives the best results. I experienced some FTF's and FTE's with CCI FMJ blazer brass. Any suggestions on ammo choices for plinking/and or security to try out will be much appreciated. I will try to post some pics and side by side of the XD-45ACP and my XD-40 and maybe some action pics if my computer literate son will assist!

Try some good ol Winchester white box..

When you get a new gun, it is best to run the best ammo you can afford during the break-in stage. That way, if you have failures, you can rule out ammo, more or less.

Just a thought.

Hopefully, this is just a break-in issue; although, my XD-40 has been picky on ammunition, as well. In my case, however, my gun likes the blazer brass and any Federal amunition. It does not always digest winchester whitebox value pack ammunition well.
