It's true, just saw the ad
Got my subscription copy of the February 2006 "Guns Magazine" today. Page 25, full page ad. 14-round capacity! On the previous page is an ad that says ALL XD-45s will come with the "gear" package that was done in limited edition earlier in the year: belt holster, double mag pouch, mag loader, 2 mags and cable lock.

I guess it's finally time to buy a .45 !

I still have my bank account from before I was married with a couple grand that is my play money. Its a totally different bank that our joint account is in. As far as gun purchases, I get away with taking half from our joint account and half from my play account. It looks like I know what I am buying next year when it becomes available in addition to my Rem 870. :P

Ok, ACP would rock... but lets think big. Are .38super rounds about as long as .45acp rounds? Just think, a 5" XD with an EFK .38super barrel... a real racegun! I wonder how much modification would be needed for the magazine? Is it even possible?

Screw Christmas, now I'm waiting for the SHOT show. I hope they will at least have some prototypes to check out!
