Best Red Dot For .44 Mag?

I decided to try a red dot scope on my Ruger Redhawk .44 mag and went with a NC Star cheapie just to see what it would do. It looked real good until I fired the first shot then the thing came unglued. The laser quit and the objective glass is now rattling around in the tube. HA HA, oh well a cheap lesson learned. I still like the idea of having a red dot on my pistol, I just wanted to know where to start and if anyone has had any luck with them and what kind they use / recommend. Thanks!

Get something that's rated for the recoil and has a warranty

If I were in your shoes, I'd suck it up and get a CMORE with a 4 MOA dot.

Thanks, the CMORE looks good, but with a Ruger you have a Ruger dovetail rail. It's difficult to find optics that conform other than ones that will fit the rings they offer. I know burris makes a Weaver rail that fits the Ruger, but then the scope will sit too high. I have some 1" and 30mm rings for it.
