That it is. Pretty penny, too!

Yeah, the performance center puts out a lot of sweet ones.

I'm kinda partial to the model 29 classic myself.

Hmmmm. Not my thing. I guess I am more of a classic guy as well.

I'm with you. When it comes to revolvers, I prefer a more standard look. Not that I'm in a position to spend that kind of money any way.

the red dot is out of place but easily corrected... I almost bought one of these last week... but decided I really didn't need it as I already have another stealth hunter that was all silver...

this has a squarish barrel with performance center on the other side... it is very well done and likely shoots just as great...

it is quite different than others out there...

I have a standard 629. But wow, that looks nice.

Just wouldn't want the optic on it.

Dad has a S&W 629 with the 8 3/8" full lug barrel. On top sits a 2x Leupold scope.

Very accurate for a handgun and with its long barrel...it really tames the 44 magnum down where it is damn pleasant to shoot.

I've had a M29 for about 30 years. Smoothest/slickest trigger and action of any revolver I've every handles/fired.

I've been sort of looking at the 5" 629 classics at gun shows but no one wants to trade me for my Dan Wesson .44 magnum stainless heavy barrel so I'm still just looking.

I did have a guy ask to take it out of the box at one show. His eyes got big, he looked it over, smiled at me and said he'd give me $350 for it. I smiled back, took it out of his hands, put it back in the box and said, "I'll bet you would" and then walked away.
