I have the meprolight. I like it because during the day it is still pretty much a notch and post. At night it tells you where the front sight is.

Ruger installed the XS sight on mine when it was back for work. I like it a LOT better than the stocker!

I put the Hi-Viz sight on mine. Just shot it today and love it.

I'd recommend the XD 24/7 Big Dot sight AND some Crimson Trace laser grips. If this is a gun that may have to save your (or someone you care about) life someday then you want every advantage you can get. I'm going to be getting this combo for my mother to carry as she is more comfortable with revolvers than autos.

I don't carry a gun because I'm paranoid.
I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.

I just bought my LCR .357 and love it so far. Havent shot any .357 through it yet but will just to see... .38+p is my carry load.
This Ruger is a thing of beauty but the front sight may be a little hard to see in a dimly lit parking lot so I'm going to go with the tritium sight. it's what im used to seeing on my SA Micro Compact so it should be natural for my eye to pick up.

On an LCR?!?!?! This is a "up close and personal" snubby. You ain't gonna be aiming it much. In the stock configuration, it doesn't even HAVE rear sights, just a notch. I installed a fiber optic front sight that works just fine.
