Question -- with the moon clip conversion, can you still load rounds without a clip? (newbie question I know...)

That is a CLEAN lookin' revolver. I've been debating getting some hardwood grips for my 161, but I do love my Hogue grips it came with. How is the recoil/grippage difference with the hardwood?

Actually grips very well and recoil is not bad, even with .357 mags. Badger makes some very nice grips for the GP100, Custom Wood Pistol Grips & Handgun Grips, including Smith & Wesson, Colt and Ruger Pistol Grips from Badger Custom Grips
