I have both, I love to shoot the .357 at the range because it is heavier amd more comfortable to shoot with 38's but the heavy gun with the bigger round is the same recoil or close to the +P amd light gun.

how much that LCR run ya. whats the difference between the LCR and the bodyguard 38?? the msrp's are about the same. looks like a great gun.

I saw a used LCR the other day for $400. Got ours new for $429.
I don't know about the bodyguard .38.

I find the snap of the LCR and 40sc about the same. Carrying is where there is a huge difference. I hardly carry my XD more because of the weight than the size.

From what I have read the BG has a laser and a ambi cylinder release located in top right behind the rear sight, also its dimension are slightly larger than the LCR

I absolutely love my Ruger LCR .38 +P. It has quickly become one of my favorite carry guns.

Pleased to announce that she officially likes it! We had a date night at the shooting range last night. She fired 100 rounds, shot well for a newbie.
She also shot my XDM-45 and was surprised that it had less recoil.
