Wolff or Trapper spring kit. Really helps the double action pull.
I've got several trophies thanks to my Stainless 6" GP. I've also shot my smallest 25 yard handgun groups with it. I've gotten several one-hole six shot clusters. After tens of thousands of rounds (over a thousand of them magnums) it still shoots as well as it did new. Needless to say, it's one of my do-not-sell guns.
Congrats and enjoy the best mass-produced double action 357 magnum revolver made.

I second the spring upgrade. Something you can do yourself if you have even a lilttle mechanical aptitude. Really helps the DA pull. The gp100 is a great shooting gun whether for self defense, plinking or even hunting. It really handles all loads well. Here's mine.

Love my GP100! Had mine for so long now I forget what year I bought it, back in the '90s somewhere. Its seen tons of rounds, mostly .357 mag and easily handles it:
No stupid Hillary lock holes. thank you.
Love it so much I have two! One home defense to leave at home with my wife and one to go camping with me and the boys:

I put wolff springs in mine. Very simple to do, especially since you must have at least a vague understanding of mechanics if you work on cars.

A wolf spring kit and do a bit of research and learn to polish all the appropriate trigger components. You will have a smooth lighter trigger that will make you cry with joy.
Also very stout pistol if you like hot loads.

Carry a gun you can fight with. Anything else is putting you in a postion of loose.
