ETA:
I got an extra cylinder, powder measure & flask, 100 Hornady .454 round balls, 100 caps ... some Borebutter, and some TC Bore Cleaner ... just add some powder, some 1800's era clothing, hat, etc and I will be able to shoot it!

Yup, C&Bs are a hoot. A fat load of 3F Goex, a .454 round ball, and a CCI magnum cap is fun on a bun!

I recommend using Ballistol to clean and lube. Moose milk (about 8 parts distilled water to one part Ballistol) cleans effortlessly, and then lubing with straight Ballistol will make everything run smoothly. And the coolest thing is that the more you use the stuff, the quicker and easier it is to clean the next time. It only takes me five minutes to completely clean and lube my cap and ball now.
