went to buy a .357 but walked out with these

i went to collectors firearms in houston, with every intention to buy one of the many used .357 smiths they had in stock at some good prices..

after walking around and looking for awhile, i decided to get these.. what with ammo costs going up, and that ammo is harder to find. i bought the ruger 22/45 for me, and the beretta neos for my wife.
so we can continue to get some range time in and dont have to share a plinker.

hoping to take them out tomorrow and give em a go.

odd how things work out eh? lol.

cheers

Good choices. You'll love the Ruger and if not I'll be happy to buy it from you.

My sister has a purple Neos and that thing is a tack driver in disguise.

Hey Boomer, give a range report when you do shoot that Ruger... I just bought the exact same pistol yesterday but I probably won't make it to the range until next weekend. I've been following threads on one of the Ruger forums, and it seems like some .22 ammo is crap and won't cycle those guns properly while others work perfectly. I'm going to take about 5-6 different types with me when I go. Let us know what works good in yours!

My Ruger 22/45 loves the Federal Bulk Packs from Wally world... it's a tack driver.... I can consistently hit golf balls on the ground at 50 yards free handed with the Ruger... it's awesome...

I did the same thing. I went to price ( thought I'd be buying ) a Ruger 44 blackhawk and after seeing cost of ammo and gun I had to regroup and went back a week later to get my 22/45. I still haven't taken it out yet so let us know. Goodluck and if you need some info this seems to be a good place to learn.

I've got one of those Beretta's. It's silver and has the 6 inch barrel and one of the worst front sights ever. I haven't shot it in several years and keep meaning to put a red dot on it. Cheap and fun!!!!!!!
