Be sure to build your Mii (me) character.
That was fun too, trying to get a figure that looked close to yourself...mines so close that everybody laughs when they see it.
We built them for all the people that come over to play..

Yep- I have a Mii at my buddies house....sadly I do not own a Wii....

If you go to the wii shopping channel and go to the virtual console you can search from NES SNES N64 SEGA and a couple other old systems games. you can download them if you buy Wii points the prices range from $5 for NES gams to $10 for N64 games. you can also use game cube discs in the wii. most of the old games you need to get a clasic controler for, some of them work with the wii mote. At this point I have mario brothers, super mario brothers 1,2,3, Super mario lost levels, and TNMT for NES super mario for SNES, and Mario 64 and I havent needed a SD chip yet.

At some point this month there is a new Mario Kart game coming out... that should be a lot of fun, especially for kids.

As the post above mentioned... those "old school" Nintendo games download-able are excellent!

Im partial to Guitar Hero 3 and Resident Evil 4. RE4 has some of the best graphics available on the Wii and a decent story line to boot.

Resident Evil is probly one of the better adult games.

Super Bash Brothers is fun but requires next to no skill but it's fun in 4 player mode because it's mass hysteria.

Smarty Pants is real fun if you like trivia games and it's pretty interactive.

If you're into racer games Excite Truck is really fun because it's fast paced, not a realistic racer but fun non-the-less.

I personally think Mario Kart (april 27th release date) will be a fun one. All the previous ones were pretty fun and it was the first game I seen females actually wanting to play a video game, even ones that don't like video games.

Over all the wii is fun but I still kinda wish I would have saved up for a PS3 instead I can't wait to play Metal Gear Solid.

As much as I love my Wii... There really isn't a whole lot of good games for it.

I have all 3 of the new systems...

Maybe because I am getting older I don't know... I just don't most of the stuff that is coming out.
basically the same ol same ol with better graphics...
Albeit COD4 was great...

I'm more interested in my Nintendo DS then anything else right now...

I agree that the Guitar Hero game is a lot of fun for Wii.

Probably I have played the Bowling game the most. Madden of course is one of my favorite video game series, but I don't think that would be very "kid friendly". Well little kids, probably middle school kids would be old enough to enjoy it.
