Also the PS3 will let you surf the Internet just like a computer, because pretty much thats what it is. They can get on Youtube, myspace and all that stuff. PS3 is also great for storing your photos, movies & music. The xbox you can only store music on the hard drive. You can connect to your media center pc with the Xbox360 to view your photos & movies stored on your computer, and you can do the same on the PS3 if your PC has VIVA installed on it. All around the best choice is the PS3 Hope this helps you out!

I think what everyone is forgetting is that this is for 2 girls 11 and 13. Xbox and PS3 are more geared towards 14-30 boys.

I have both the yBox and the Nintendo waggle-stick system.
If you only get one, I recommend Wii. It's more accessible, less expensive, has more options, and its online play has fewer dimwitted boys on it.

well, the girls were pretty insistent that they wanted Wii...so that's what I ended up getting. It's not bad. They like the sports games and some "chicky" games that I don't care for. But I got the latest Metal of Honor game for me with the "zapper", and that's a lot of fun.

I think the Wii was a good choice. My son's been wanting a new gaming system. With it almost being summer, I'd rather he go outside and play, but at least playing with the Wii is active. Beats watching them sitting on the couch like a lump. I want the PS3 for myself, though.
