i was hoping for one from my parents or girlfriend for christmas and never got a 360:/ so i went down to best buy and waited in the FORSAKEN line for almost 2 hours. bought my 360 pro and went home, set everything up, and got 3 ringed, i was pissed. i had the flu, i was sweating profusely, and i could barely breathe, i said FK this and went back, guess what, all the 360 pros were sold out.. so i ended up getting the elite instead..

I WAS A DIEHARD XBOX FAN, but after all the problems of the 360, I've converted to the black box....

They did their homework and didn't launch their product too early like Microsoft. Plays Bluray DVD's too!

I still think the original Xbox is better than PS2 though.

My son's had the dreaded Red Rings of Death about a month ago.

Called up MS, and they had the process wired down. Maybe they've had alot of practice with this...

Anyway, got it back yesterday!

looks like im getting a brand new console. they shipped it back to me yesterday. i should get it back tomorrow or friday.

Same thing happened to me in October. They sent me back a new one as well, with the little piece covering the inputs on the front conveniently ripped off, and the case cracked right above it. Score! Wonder how that will effect the resale value... Anyone want a 360?

At least most of you guys didnt have to wait 2 months to get yours back. When mine died back in Aug 07 I had to mail it to family and then they had to ship to M$. And it had to come back the same way. Now I am just waiting on the refurb to die.

got back yesterday. they replaced my console with a new one. I think this one has the new chipset as it runs a lot quieter.

why is it everything that microsoft puts out is a P.O.S smitten with bugs....

look at everything they have done: Windows XP and Vista...gotta got through five kinds of hell to get anything to work with vista, at least i did...

360 rings of death....

how can a company who puts out such faulty crap be so successful?????

i agreed with one of the above posters, i went with the PS-3 and love it...never had a problem out of it yet

too bad PS3 has no good titles, and if they do its also on the 360.. and any exclusive titles for the ps3 that are actually worthy of playing arent even due out for another year or two..

GT5: Prolouge is out now, and MGS4 is coming in June. . .
