Sorry to hear that man. I take it this is on UT? I'm not good enough to get hated on like that LOL.

Yeah, it was on UT. It hasn't happened on the one server recently. I had contacted the admin of the server I play on most and told him what's been going on. We'll see what happens.

I was able to play on other servers tonight w/out getting kicked.

Well, tonight I had a run of good luck and sweet moves (i.e. luck part 2), and won 2 "rounds" in a row on my favorite server. Hopefully my overall score on there will go up, too.

PS: There's nothing like jumping off of a landing and making a headshot kill before you land on your feet.

I've been hooked on Call of Duty 4 lately and haven't been playing Urban Terror. This XBOX has got me hooked.

OMG!! I found my favorite map last night!!

I was playing on |ALPHA| Clan's 3rd party map server. When we went to the next map (after it had downloaded it), I saw the preview screen!

The map is called "Intermodal" (UT4_Intermodal) and its setting is at a port. There's a huge pier w/ 2 container ships, a tugboat, a warehouse, gantry cranes, and a sh!tload of containers. You can get onto the roofs, up on the cranes, into the ships... and it's a sniper's dream.

It's cool because I deal w/ channels and ports and ships like that at work every day! We do channel design, and dredging management, etc. for ports to handle ships that size.

So, needless to say I was really into that map. I think I was more "into" looking around and imagining what it would be like in real life than I was getting frags (oops, sorry team!). LOL.

It did help me realize the "scale" of places like that. The game helped give me a better, more realistic "feel" and outlook on a port, and the sheer space needed for all those freakin' containers!.

... Who says games don't teach you anything?

I used to play this game a lot. A buddy of mine used to do some work with skinning the characters. He doesn't do it anymore though. Very cool game.

Anyone else play this game at all? We must get "together" and play online! This game rocks!

|ALPHA|Clan's servers are awesome, they don't allow cheating, and are "policed" regularly. Awesome game play there.

I also started playing on the WAR clan's servers, but not as much.

Yeah, free is a great price.

Plus you don't need Quake 3 Arena anymore - it's a stand alone game now!

I like that it uses "real" weapons and not some laser death ray....

I wish they would incorporate an Aim Down the Sight feature. I hate that the G36 is the only rifle that you are able to do that to because it has a scope.
