So, those of you with fancy new LCD TVs experiencing a bit of "snow-blindness" might want to check your display settings. Learn2turn said it, and its a good term for it, some of these games do have a "snow-blind" effect, MW3 was especially bad for it. So, I was going through the display settings and noticed this setting
PS3™ | RGB Full Range (HDMI) . It's set to limited as the default, which is just stupid. Set it to FULL, you'll be amazed at the difference it makes! Especially grey scale, and overall color quality, no more haze in the distance, and I can see through the smoke type effects. I always wondered how people saw me when I was trying to hide certain places. Black levels are also much better now too. Now I can see those butt munchers hiding in dark corners, and splat them with the cool new semi-auto grenade launcher I just unlocked!
I wonder how much better the other games will look with this setting changed?
Found the thread I read that in:
Anyone else notice the (vast) difference of resolution between FPS games?
