I can't believe we don't have a thread dedicated to Skyrim yet! OK people, post up in here. This game is so nuts, I'm playing as a wood elf sneaky archer with lots of points into lockpicking and archery.

Cant be worse than rage, which does not work STILL for 5800 series ATI cards and my $1500 gaming laptop, crashed a drive, cost me a new disc for windows and was abandoned. So far, no disappointment in TES 5. Check out my screen shots and see for yourself.

What didn't you like in Oblivion? There will be a lot of similarities, so I need to know what you didn't enjoy so I can tell you whether you should avoid Skyrim.
I've spent most of today playing, goofing off on sidequests and boosting my pickpocketing.
A neat trick: Try putting some gold on a guard and taking it back from him. You can pickpocket the same person infinitely using this method. Don't put on too much, as the value of the item you're trying to steal will affect the difficulty of a successful pickpocket attempt. Needless to say, there's a guard out there in Skyrim running around with 1k more gold than they started out with.
