modern warfare prestige question? - XDTalk Forums

hey guys and gals, my gamertag is layber on 360, please feel free to add me. question about prestige levels: I am 55 on prestige one and am a few thousand xp from finishing it, what do they offer for prestige 2 to make it worth it to give up all your weapons again? the same for 3, 4, 5, etc.? I notice some people have gold AKs, and i just saw a gold mini Uzi for the first time...just curious, it was kind of a pain to rebuild everything just for that stupid little golden eagle prestige symbol next to my gamer tag. The curiousity is killing me, please shed some light. thanks

I opted to not go to prestige just I didn't really see the point and I am pretty sure you get golden weapons by completing all the challenges for the weapon ie head shots and overall kills for the weapon. I'm like 5 head shots away from from my dragonov and my AK. Just my 2cents tho too bad on World at War it doesn't give you the option you just got prestige automatically.

Thanks much for the heads up on the golden weapons. I thought maybe you got a different one for every level of prestige or something, but if thats not the case, I'm definately not giving away my .50 cal and claymores again. LOL

When I played all the time I prestiged like 5 times just to keep things from getting too boring. World at War has the advantage of additional custom slots, but by the time that game came out I didn't play as much so I never bothered to prestige, just stayed topped out.

Going back to basic will make you a better more efficient killer. I found that each time I prestiged, my K/D ration improved. YRMV.

By top, do you mean when you can longer prestige anymore?

Is that for MW2, or W@W or COD4 or all of them?
