By the way, in 1969 I served as the OIC of the 1st Cavalry Division sniper team and in 1970 I led a MACV Special Ops team...all in lll Corps. Welcome home, Hurrel.

I Corps only.
7th Comm Bn, 3rd MAF, and 5th Comm Bn. Moved around quite a bit, but never got farther south than Da Nang.

Veitnam Era Vet..... 6/58 thru 6/61
U.S.Navy, I never got outside the United States, my rate would have never let go incountry Veitnam was a Special Weapons Tech I spent my enlistment at a USNM stateside in the Southeast after finnishing E&E "P" School at Great Lakes, Special Weapons "A" School in NM and "C" School at NAS Norfolk. I own a plank at my final duty station as I was part of the commisioning party of the Magazine in the fall of 1959. |

Combined Action Group(CAG) @Quang Tri(Dec67-Apr 68, then 3rd Tanks Northern ICorp(Leatherneck Square/DMZ) until Jan68, Second tour Feb 68 back to 3rd Tanks (DMZ)until Aug 69 , (DAV).

Light Attack Squadron Four (VAL-4) (Black Pony) TF-116 Riverine, Binh Thuy, IV Corps (Mekong Delta) '71-'72 I see there's another 'Durty Dick' sailor present!
