Any other Contractors in here?

Figured I would post this here since a lot of us are prior military to begin with. As you all know, networking is a key in this line of work. Who else does contracting? Currently I am working in Iraq...

I know how

I have a background in telecommunications. I know the in's ands outs of networking, satellite, cabling, phone, voip, home/mobile audio/video. I'm interested in it, but never found any sound info. How do I go about finding a contractor? What are the work conditions like over there? Thanks in advance.

I think he was referring to social networking, not so much the computer type.

I am a contractor currently in Afghanistan. I work for General Atomics and I work on the MQ-9 Reaper as an A&P Mechanic. We support the U.S. Airforce and British Airforce operations. We are pretty much military still. Same rules. We can just have a beard and wear shorts. We do everything I did in the military. They just have to make sure they have a Service Member push the button when we drop bombs. Right now the Air Force can't work on these aircraft. They are too new for them to do any maintainance on (no job guides) and they are undermanned. I guess thats job security for now!
