This guy should have his nuts cut off. Total disrespect for the people who really represent that name.

Read in the paper this week that for every actual Navy SEAL there are 300 people claiming to be a Navy SEAL.

I have met 1 navy SEAL in my life, one explosive guy that worked with them for 4 years. The SEAL, was in Nam, he was a SEAL for their equivalent of one tour, not sure how long a tour for a SEAL is. The explosive guy, didn't go to BUD/S but trained with them outside of that. He said most of what they did was go in and get politically sensitive people out. He also was attached to a ship via an oxygen system and moved water mines in the first gulf war. He wouldn't talk about killing, only incident he talked about was.
The mogidishu somalia incident... I"m thinking "BS" at this point, then he says "I spent it on a ship, the navy never got sent in, thats the problem with the job, we do a lot of waiting for something to happen" and he also pointed out killing wasn't easy to do emotionally, he never was an "operator" and he said he had the option but didn't want to do that to himself. The SEAL wouldn't talk about it at all. The explosives guy did, due to I was looking at trying out for SEALS, but kept it vague, he refused to get very personal. Never met a sniper that would talk about it.... I can talk to Marines, but they don't bring it up, my other brothers do (I"m an E-3) They don't like talking about getting hurt, they only reference days about people that died, never anything in it... except to eachother/those that were there at the scene. I have met a few rangers, they only lay claim to it when I have asked how they did something (rolled up onto a roof WTF?/ or better question why?)

The really funny thing about dumba$$ is he didn't even pick a realistic distance for his story.....4 miles? Call the local Army recruiter and send him over to the car shop. Maybe cool guy will join up!

His MOS was probably uber leet level clearance. I've seen these guys. It's true. They each get an exact replica of the bat mobile for their personal vehicle. You guys don't know about these long range sniper rifles because only the greatest Counter Strike players on the planet get them.
Unfortunately, you hear BS like this a lot from fellow service members. I've heard it all, from hearing the exact same story from two different people in one day, to listening to people bragging about their "kill count". Very few people who have actually been in the extreme situations will talk about it openly. Sorry pukes like this are an insult to people who have really put their lives on the line. 300 fake navy seals for every real one? Makes me sick. How pathetic do you have to be to make things up to get people to like you? I joined 4 years ago, and I've always heard people talk about how different the army was "back in the day". I sincerely hope there was a time at least a few of those people got a good hearty beating for pretending to be a ranger, or wearing medals they know they didn't earn, or whatever else you hear about the scumbags doing.

Ahhhh, the legendary "PX Ranger".
This guy is a BAD MOFO, let me tell ya. He can hump 50 miles in 3 hrs. He can run 20 miles in 40 minutes. He can swim the English channel. He can HALO with a static line chute from 35000 feet. He carried a Mk19 on a SAW sling and he does all that before breakfast. But the one thing he can't do..........pass Basic Training so that he can do any of that stuff. I've kicked enough little turds out like that to fill a cattle car. My best line to one of the little turds on his way out the door, "I can't believe you mom brought such a worthless piece of *&^% into this world!"
