those guys are so stupid. I have a good story like that. I was at the girlfriends sorority rush party a few years ago and some guy was hitting on her so badly all night, I never mind though, I take it as a compliment and she gets to enjoy being hit on. win win situation. So anyways he drops the line "yeah Im actually a veteran, I just got home last summer and now Im going to college now that I am out of the army." to which claire responds really? my boyfriend is in the army, let me introduce you to him. I asked him one question, what was your MOS? and he shut the hell up and turned and walked away.

Part of me wants to beat the crap out of guys pulling that because of how disrespectful they are, but another part of me says they aren't worth it and just laugh at them for being weak morons.

Personally I think its an idealism thing with the new marines or any branch of military or even law enforcement. All the new guys think that there branch is the best because they chose it imagine if you will if you chose to dedicate you life ( or 4 to 20 years of your life) to a branch of military or LEO and then you find out that its not the best, you put time and effort into not being the best. People don’t want to face that. Any ways Im going in to a LEO branch my self and I jock with friends that my branch is the best, but I don’t put other branches down. The people who put other branches down are just scare of not being the best. When really where all the same our goal is to protect and serve just because one has more training than another doesn’t mean there better. Marines are the best though. JK

It never ceases to amaze me how many morons there are out there. My old man had a guy working for him that claimed to be a prior Maine. My dad didnt buy it. So I told him to ask the guy what his MOS was and told my dad he didnt have one. Huh thats funny I though all Marines had an MOS. Who knew they let one slip by.

Those fakers are everywhere.

In one of the units I was in we had a 22 year old soldier who had just returned from Afghanistan decide to go down to Savana Georgia and sell himself as a decorated Ranger Battalion First Sergeant from Afghanistan.

Sad thing is the paper bought into it and published his picture and his crazy story.

Two days after he got back from leave Someone from a Ranger Battalion got hold of the article and faxed it to me and my commander in Ft. Bragg.

That soldier had a few pretty bad months in the Army.
