I like the bear rape idea. If you can do that, the rest should be a piece of cake..

lol

I guess i was lucky going in being in pretty good shape, but i would definitely recommend running and Pyramid pullups (1-max, max-1) every other day and the crunches will help themselves, besides, theyre easy to cheat
You will get Smokechecked in boot if youre fat and lazy, i saw a guy lose 35lbs. in 13 weeks. When you get out of boot, pullups are your moneymaker, 5 pts. for every pullup.. I do max pullups, 100 crunches, and a easy 22:40 ish runtime and make 275-280 everytime, which will put you in the top 10-15 percent easily.
Good luck, semper fi, and get ready to get loud and sweat.
BTW what MOS are you going for?

219-178 in 9 weeks, by the end of boot I was back up to 205. The weigh I gained that much weight was unreal. Twice in boot they lied about my weight, if you loose more than 10 or gain more than 10 in a week you get sent to a doctor... I woulda loved to be a double rat... I would have had a better time. When I got too light I mixed cheese and ham bits from the salad bar with everything I ate, and made everything a sandwich which allowed me to eat twice as much in the same amount of time. The week before the crucible I lost 11 pounds, the week after the crucible I gained 13 in nine days.

wow, I went from 215 to 178 by the end of boot. I was 8lbs over at initial weigh in and got diet private, lost it in about a week and they kept me on it, so I had one leaf of lettuce on my tray come meal inspection, with cargo pockets holding stuffed bread. I never had a problem being a top PFT-er so my Senior took me off diet private, which didn't mean much as I had the two red bars spray painted on my PT sweatshirt. My finat PFT was a 290.

I got there and was the correct weight and got put on double rats based on my appearance. That was good eatin' Though trying to choke down double the food in the same time the fat bodies ate was a challenge.

Lots of water or Gatorade while chewing that's for sure.

My biggest dissapointment with the chow hall was that I only got SOS ONCE the whole time I was there.

You crack me up...

(Is that like the D.I. and his assistants?)

In 1945 my time in boot camp was only 8 weeks. I guess there wasn't time for PFT and/or The Crucible. They needed more cannon fodder in a hurry...

LOL if you score that on a PFT you better be running on a broken leg, doing pull-ups with a dislocated shoulder and have a hernia on the setups that sticks out a solid foot.
