Convoy escort bringing food, fuel, and equipment into Iraq.
Okay here goes...Um Qsar, Basrah airport, Shaibah LOG base, Tallil, Cedar II, Scania, Kalsu, BIAP, Camp Fallujah, Camp Ramadi, TQ, Camp Cortez(Rastamyah? sp), FOB Falcon, Taji, Anaconda, FOB Warhorse, Warrior, Speicher. There's a couple more that I can't remember the names. EFP IED's suck!

March-August 1999: USAF/AD deployed to AL Jaber AB, Kuwait for Southern Watch. I was an F-16 Avionics Tech. We dropped Laser-Guided munitions almost everyday, twice a day.

Jan-May 2005: USAF/ANG-Doin' the Deid! Joint STARS maintainer, OIF.

Jan-Mar 2006: USAF/ANG-the Deid again, JSTARS

Apr-Aug 2007: Goin' back for more.....

Ya'll are youngins...lol Thanks for everything you have done for our country.

I did the first war over there with 1st ID 3/37 Armor, Taskforce 2/16.
We breached the berm on opening day for the 7th corps. and ended up providing security for the peace talks. My unit ended up with a presidential Valorous Unit award but it seems meaningless when i read what you guys are going through.

We had it much easier than you all and my hats off to everyone of you!

i ama miliitary spouse, and hubby is currently in iraq, on his 3rd tour, and he has been to all theabove places

I know all you guys that have been to the desert are going to hate me but I was "Deployed" (If you can call it that) to Al Udeid AB in Qatar.

Yeah I was "Deployed" to Bahrain from Jan 03-Jul 03..... And collecting 100 a day per diem on top of hazard pay. Its not a bad vacation spot out there.
