Thumbs down They reversed it...

...but it was too late. They were too far out to sea to return. There were even family members that flew there to be with their loved ones on Turkey day.

Does it really matter if they reversed their decision?

Their first decision is the one that they intended; otherwise, they wouldn't have made it. Their reversal of the decision was to avoid any negative attention, and it should not be construed as anything other than an understanding that they would get negative attention for it.

China's on a mission to smooth over the previously held belief that they are a communist nation that doesn't value or recognize the rights of it's peons. IMO, that is yet another reason why China is so eager to have the Olympics at Bejing. It's a good PR move and an attempt to pull the wool over the world's eyes and say, "Hey, we're just like you."

Question No it doesn't...

ummm...my thumbs down was for China. No it really doesn't matter...I'm pissed about it. I was pointing out that while they did reverse it, it was too late and it impacted family as well as service men and women.

China just said "go away" to see if we would. They're like my 2-year-old who likes to test the boundaries.

We should have let MacArthur have his way and nuke China during the Korean War, They have had no respect for us since then.If we had made a few million Chineese glow in the dark then they would respect our willinness to use all of the weapons in our arsenell, plus they'd be easier to pick out with NVG.
