http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070207/...sa_shooting_dc i remember reading about this story a while back, the soldier was guarding a checkpoint in Iraq, and the car with the italians was speeding towards them. so he did what anyone in that country with any sense of self presevation would do. he opened fire, not kwowing they were friendlys. it is very sad, but the soldier is not to blame he only did what he was trained to do to protect himself. we had better not hand him over to the italians.... |

I would be very pissed also. ANYONE even if they have never been over there should have enough sense to NOT drive quickly towards an ARMED checkpoint.
