Honored to be counted amongst the ranks
SSG 11B/C Grunt, FO, AIT DI, G-3 Training (Light Weapons and Tactics), and, and, and, ****-burning detail at FB Devans (nothing like the smell in the morning to go with your Army coffee and C-Rat ham and eggs.
Vietnam/Cambodia 1969-1970 25th Infantry, 1/5 (Mech) the Bobcats. My daughter just made SGT. E-5, she was on the line in Iraqi during the push to Baghdad and just completed a tour of Northern Afghanistan (Hell yes, I'm proud of her)

Phil - Let's hear it for 11 Bravo's. Now that you brought it up, the smell of burning s*** is once more with me...a memory that I would just as soon forget. Congratulations on raising such a fine young woman for a daughter. Please tell her that an old grunt extends his thanks for her service.
