Two Worthy Causes

Two worthy causes. Do more than slap a sticker on your bumper. These servicemen and women are coming back and fighting a different battle.

Injured Marine Semper FI Fund
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund provides financial assistance to injured Marines, sailors, and members of other service branches injured while assigned to Marine forces, and their families. Our goal is to help defray expenses incurred during recovery and rehabilitation so that the family’s focus can be on their Marine.

Wounded Warrior Project
WWP accomplishes this mission by providing programs and services to severely injured active service members and their families during the critical time between their initial rehabilitation while on active duty and their eventual transition to civilian life.

War Without End

or if there is a big VA center or retirment home you go and spend some time. My Squadron in the Air Force adopted a VA retirment home a few miles from base and they love to see us coming. Some of them will not tell their familys what they did in WWII but they will open up to other service members. This is some times a great history lession and we are losing these national tressures each day.
