Stars and Stripes

I have always liked to read this -

http://www.stripes.com/

of course I like the real thing, but this
fills the void.

Stars and Stripes brings back memories of reading it in Korea.

You guys know that this link will give you everything but that newsprint smell for the real thing, right? It's PDFs of the 3 different editions of S&S each day, and if you miss one, you can go back at least a week!

IMO, the various <insert service> Times papers generally aren't fit to wipe your rear end with. Too much politics for my taste. But then again, that's what the media seems to be nowadays.

Great paper, S & S's. I read it very often when stationed on Diego Garcia in 1991. No PC's, no cable TV, and of course no radio back then. I remember picking up that thing every time it came out.

I like the Stripes... mostly because it's free and I can grab one when I leave the Chow Hall.
