Marijuana for PTSD
I know countless vets who gave up the prescription meds and turned to marijuana. The claim they dont smoke to the point of being high, just enough to settle them.
Fast forward that to the Army Times reporting that the VA had approved marijuana for treatment of PTSD. Congress has since shut it down.
Without implicating ones self.... thoughts?

Fraud would go up if service members could find away to smoke weed. If it helps actual patients Im for it.

I was told the same thing. I never believed in defrauding the system, so I did not trump up anything I filed. I feel, personally, like everything I filed for is legitimate issues that cause me problems day to day.

You and I know how big the friggen line would be for people just looking for smoke. If there is a study that PROVES it helps, I am down too.

Sure as hell better than hittin the bottle to cope. If you need a lil puff to relax, I have no problem with that. Mind as well give it a shot.

I think it works well... I also think this whole attacking the plant needs to stop, but it won't for a while... if they would allow the proper research, they would see that they can develop strains which is high in the beneficial chemicals with very little psychoactive effects. A buddy of mine is working one now which has been tested to only have about 2% thc, but around 10%+ of the other chemicals cannabis produces which have shown beneficial properties to not only ptsd symptoms, but cancer, pain, and nerve issues as well... and he's just a back yard botanist, lol.
I guess if weed were legal, the DEA would have nothing to do, and big pharmacy couldn't keep pushing their addictive medications like they do.

I've never smoked Marijuana.
But due to the problems with my back and leg I'm seriously thinking of trying it to see if it will help.
