Medal of Honor: 16 of 82 living recipients arrive for National Medal of Honor Day | WJLA.com

Only 3,500 service members have been awarded the Medal of Honor since the Civil War.
And only 82 recipients are alive today.

Caption on the video refers to them as "...Medal of Honor winners..." Italics mine.

Stupid writer...they did not "win" it, they earned it. You never refer to MOH recipients as "winners".

God Bless the US Navy Seals!!

Speaking of the MOH, the story of the first recipients in the Army is told in the April edition of Trains Magazine. The story of the Andrews Raiders and The Great Locomotive Chase is good reading.

There is no "Common Sense Gun Regulation". There is only unconstitutional gun restriction.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

I couldn't read the story on the website, but read the wikipedia version. Very interesting. From the reading, it was a member of that raid, Jacob Parrot, who was awarded the very first Medal Of Honor. Also interesting, Andrews himself wasn't eligible for the MOH, because he was a civilian. Yet, he was still hanged by the Confederates.

Yes, God Bless Lt. Murphy.

The two living MOH recipients .. ( IMHO there should have been more than two living MOH recipients from Iraq and Afghanistan )
