Those spoiled rich kids aren't fit to shine his boots.
They'll never hope to accomplish in their entire lives what he did in 6 short months of his life.

This is BS!
We need to send some of those rich boys and rich girls on a vacation to Afgan! How dare they treat a hero like that!

I agree that theres alot of liberal idiots in college, but its a bit unfair to lump all college students in with them. I've never served in the military but sure as hell i respect those who do. We're not all liberals with our heads buried in the sand...

I didn't say all college students and certainly did not mean to imply it. Just said there are a lot of them in a college campus. Even here in the wild west of arizona, the UoA campus is a breeding ground for hippies. Not stereotyping, just simply the way things are.

Good for you! You don't care! Well, I do care!!!
So what, if you got you ass kissed at the airport. Treating a combat wounded Veteran like that is inexcusable! By anyone in this country!!!!!
So what, if he signed up for it. He deserves respect from every single citizen of this country. Not just from Veterans of other wars at the airport!
Oh, and while we're at it spit on anyone who wasn't infantry ... sure thing, kid!

I'm a little curious as to how you think this excuses their actions here? I'm also wondering if you took 11 rounds for this country since you seem to think that because you are military you have some idea of what he went through. I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm simply making a point. You walking through the airport, likely in uniform coming home to see your family and getting a few pats on the back is nowhere near the same thing as a hero to this country being booed by his own damn classmates. It's pathetic honestly. It bothers me a little that you wouldn't care. Am I going to drive up there to teach those kids a lesson? Not likely, but it still pisses me off a bit.
Yes, those kids are pathetic and likely not worth our time, but eventually someone needs to set them straight on how things work in the real world. See one post above for the rest of my thoughts.

My entire point was obviously missed, so I'm just deleting the post and forgetting about the thread.

Well it will be staying in my post. If you want to come back and explain your point, then great. If not, who cares right?
