World War II Bombardier Wings

Can anyone Identify this pin? I've been googling for about an hour or so and found a similar pin which tells me it may be " World War II Amico sterling silver 3.0" Bombardier USAAF U.S. Army Air Force military pin". I'm not familiar with WWII memorabilia and not sure how to begin to find out more about the pin it's rarity and value to a collector. Thanks in advance for any info provided.

Might be some info that you already have, but a google search yielded this:
Google Image Result for http://www.collectics.com/mb039.jpg

Looks like they had one (its the second from the bottom) and they mention that they are highly sought after. Based on the pic that you provided, it looks like you have correctly identified it as a Bombardier Pin.

That is the exact info i found. Excited to find out it is a "rare find" it was heading toward a good will drop box. hoping to have it authenticated/appraised soon.

My wife's grandfathers girlfriend past away. Since she had very little family, my wife's grandfather was responsible for her arrangements and removing the things from her assisted living building. She wanted my wife and I to have her two curio cabinets that my wife would always clean and organize for her when we would visit, and she left two jewelry boxes full of mostly costume jewelry to my daughter who would try them on from time to time. No one knows who the wings belong to, and after contacting her son, the only family she has left. He said, if they were in the jewelry boxes they belong to my 12yr old daughter so after a history lesson for all of us thanks to Google, the wings are locked away in a safe awaiting an experts opinion on authenticity.
