I took BCT at FT. Benning, but my step-son recently went through OSUT 21B at "Fort Lost in The Woods". The hardest part for me and him and most the other trainees was "Homesick", could'nt wait go recieve those letters from home at "Mail Call' every day. Stay focused and don't screw-up or the DI's will be all you like flies on sh**.
I want to thank you for your sacrifice, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I think that you've already left, but I thought I would jump on. I also did my osut at Leonardwood as a 21b. The only really good advice would have been, keep in shape before you go, keep your ears and eyes open, and your mouth shut. 90% of the time you'll be in a much better place if you don't say the right thing, than if you do say the wrong thing. But overall, in a few months you'll look back and laugh at how easy it was. Any other questions, please feel free to shoot me a pm. I'm at Bragg these days doing some training, but I always have plenty of time to help a brother out.
