Been to Afghanistan?
Im headed over there Sunday, and am wanting to talk to people who have been there recently. Interested in knowing where you were, and what you saw.

Flown over but never landed there. Good luck and god speed. Pick up Marcus Luttrell's book (Lone Survivor) for the trip over.

I have not been there myself...but a good friend of mine (wife's cousin) is currently somewhere near Kunar. (thats the last location he gave me anyway)

We have talked on MySpace quite a bit...it gets rough over there at times, but he must be liking it because he reenlisted again (3rd time)
