new /used police scanner
Anyone have a police scanner they don't use anymore and would like to get rid of?? Let me know what you have and what you want for it...
Cash or possible trade depending on what you are looking for and if I have it. Semper Fi!

I don't have an extra one, but if you find one, make sure it covers the bands used in your area. Some areas have gone digital, which requires a much newer scanner.

yep, I know. thanks for the heads up anyways.
I almost pulled the trigger on a new digital the other day, just to be on the ball for the time when my area does make the switch, but a new carry gun is tugging harder on my wallet at the moment.

USMC-PRIDE,
Not sure what part of the state you're in, but you really shouldn't get anything other than a digital at this point. Granted I'm in the cities & we've had the digital system for over 5 years...but the plan is to be statewide within the not too distant future. As a digital will receive both analog & digital transmissions, and an analog only is just that, you would be wise to wait until you can get the full meal deal. BTW...if you are retired USMC, THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE! MM

I'd go digital too if I lived in a place that didn't scramble their frequencies.

I've got a Uniden Sportcat SC150B handheld I might considered parting with...it's clean and has the ac charger and book - not sure if I have the original box...not sure what it's worth really - I'd guess $60-$70. I might consider trades maybe XD mags, Kydex mag pouches for XD or Sig. Just shoot me a PM if interested. I'm fairly new here but have lots of posts over on Sig forum (same handle).
