WANTED: Cheap 1911 grips/bushings/screws for project
I just picked up a Ruger 22/45 on a trade, but the grip is far too narrow to shoot comfortably.

I'm hoping someone out there has some take-off's in a drawer taking up space. I need the grips, bushings, and screws to do the 1911 modification to my 22/45 correctly.

I'm a college student on a fairly tight budget, so cheaper is better.
I don't care what grips they are, whethere they're wood, plastic, or whatever...new or used, doesn't matter. Price does.

If you have anything please let me know.

I am actually getting ready to do the same project, so let me hop on this thread and say that I would be interested in the same hardware. If there is some die hard 1911 guy out there with more than one extra set, please let me know. Of course if you only have one set then hook Brett up first!
