WTS/T - Ruger Mark III Hunter w/ superb trigger & extras (FTF in NC)
For now I'm going to list this as FTF only. I am in Claremont, NC which is half way between Hickory and Statesville. I'm willing to drive up to 1 hour to meet someone half way.
This is the 6-7/8 in version with a fluted barrel, fiber optic front sight in stainless (KMKIII678H). I bought this gun lightly used so I do not know the total round count. I have put less than 200 rounds through it. It comes with the original box, manual, scope base (never installed), extra light pipes for the front sight, nylon belt holster and 2 mags. The original owner also installed a VERY nice Volquartsen trigger that has to be felt to be believed. Also included in the box is all the original parts if you ever want to put it back to its original configuration. This gun shoots great and the trigger is superb. The only reason I am trading/selling it is because I prefer shorter barrels. I have put 1000's of rounds through an old Mark II 5.5" barrel and now I can't get used to the longer barrel length. Asking price for cash is $440. I am open to trades. Specifically, I'd be interested in another .22 pistol with a 4 - 5.5" barrel. Either a Ruger Mark II or a Browning Buckmark. Prefer stainless and either bull or slab side barrels. I'd also be interested in a 4" S&W 617. However, I am open to other trades that are not .22's so tell me what you got. If the gun is traded for another .22, I have 3 additional mags to include with the Ruger. If it sells for cash or trades for a non-.22, I'd prefer to hold onto them since I will most likely replace it with a similar gun in a shorter barrel length in the near future. Here is a pic...

I have one of these pistols and love it. I would like to know how that trigger is. I have looked at getting one for it, but wasn't sure if it was worth it or not.
