Your XD40 mags will fit your XD9. All you have to do is bend the top lips in together just a tad to get the bullets to sit exactly how they do in the 9mm mags. You will have 2 more bullets int he XD40 mags (stacking 9mm) than you would in the XD9 mags.

I know. I have one modified mag but I would rather have mags I KNOW I can rely on.
