sorry to take this thread off topic, but do the upula (spelling) mag loaders really make that big of a difference. i never really saw that point of the xd one, as it only made it a little easier to load the last round, and even then it was just easier for me to load it by hand.

No problem with the off-topic question. I don't own one yet, but everything I hear says, yes, the Uplula makes a huge difference. I plan to use the XD loader first, so that I have something to compare it to. Of course, loading by hand is always an available option, and one that I'm sure I'll exercise.

where the xd loader pushes on the back of the round the uplula pushes down on the whole bullet and give a lot of room to get the next round in.

Wanted: large and/or unusual brass/bullets

My two boys (8 and 6 yrs old), with the help of my uncle, have started a collection of spent brass/shells. All I was able to contribute was .40 and 7.62x39, so my uncle gave them a wide variety of other common calibers (9mm, .45, 30-30, .30-06, .308, etc).

If anyone out there has something large (they love the BIG ones - mo' power!) and/or an unusual caliber that they are willing to give away, they'd sure love it! (If you have TWO of them, it would be even better, to keep the fighting to a minimum! )

They collect some of the bullets they pull out of the backstop too, if someone has something weird there, too.

(I need to put something up here, too. Let me go home and see what I've got.)
