Exclamation Locksmithing stuff up for sale (AZ)

Update: Sold pending funds. Thanks for looking.

Well, I'm getting out of the biz and putting out some feelers for someone who might be interested in buying some tools, blanks, locks, and other supplies. This is basically all the stock and key machines I carried in my work van, so it's a fair amount of stuff. Purchaser will need to provide proof of bonding, a blank company invoice, or some other method of showing they're actually in the business. A certificate of graduation from a locksmithing school, trade program, or some other good-faith showing of an interest in getting into the business would be acceptable for those just starting out. Purchase on behalf of a property management company, apartment complex, or similar will also be acceptable. (I need to exercise a little discretion due to the nature of the items involved). Ideally I'm looking to sell everything as a package deal, but I'd be willing to break it up into smaller quantities for the right situation. If you're the real deal, let's talk. I'm also willing to accept partial payment in the form of a firearm from someone purchasing the complete lot. If you're interested, tell me what you've got to trade--those with combloc weaponry will find me sympathetic.

Transaction will be FTF only (no shipping), and ideally in the Phoenix valley area, but I'll be heading to Tucson later in the week, so delivery could be arranged down in the Old Pueblo. For the right customer, I'd also be willing to meet halfway from another point (figure a few hours' drive from Phoenix as a radius), so if you're interested in LA or LV, send me a note. For an inventory list and lovely, full-color pics of the terrific deal I'm willing to make somebody on a van's worth of stuff, send me a PM--this is pretty much 90% of the equipment you need to comfortably get into residential and commercial lock work.

Can't buy from you, but I just wanted to say congrats Dan.

I know you've been talking about getting out of that biz for a while and I wanted to wish you the best of luck on all your future endeavors.

Appreciate it, sir.

I've been debating whether or not to just keep all my gear if I decide to get back into it at a later date, but I can't justify taking up the space in my garage when I could (theoretically) liquify this stuff and move on. Hopefully there's a buyer out there, because, if I do say so myself, I'm giving somebody the hookup.

Dan, I have always found the most ready
buyer to be the competition. Bet he is out
there and will gladly take you up on what
you have for sale.

I'm thinking so, too. I'm putting together some flyers to post at friendly suppliers on their bulletin boards. I just figured I'd post here too to cover all the bases.

I wouldn't sell Dan. Always nice to have a trade to fall back on. I haven't touched metal studs/drywall in 7 years but I kept all my tools just in case...

Yeah, I thought about that angle. I'm keeping many of my hand tools and small stuff, but I think if I ever get back into this I'm going to approach it in a different way....instead of a fully decked-out van with electricity in the back, etc., I'm just going to work "lighter" out of a pickup--a cheaper way to operate. This is the stuff I'm comfortable parting with.
